I visited my friend here and was truly amazed by how happy she was after being in multiple facilities with poor care. I completely understand why she feels so much better. The care here is phenomenal. The facility is clean, beautifully decorated, and welcoming, but what truly makes this place amazing is the staff. If you or your cherished love one needs compassionate and skilled care at the end of life, Horizon's Lawlis Family Hospice (Mequon, WI) is THE right choice. The way the NP, RNs and CNAs cared for my Father (and us) in his last week was beyond outstanding. The facility is well-run and also beautiful and peaceful. The Horizon staff is phenomenal, and we will be forever grateful to them. ~ thank you to the Lawlis Family and to Horizon Hospice.

So far, I have been here by my sisters side for six days. They are taking excellent care of her by being incredibly gentle, over the top accommodating, hyper vigilant in assessing her needs and sensitive/knowledgeable while explaining the process. They also extended that level of care to me and her spouse. We will always be grateful to these group of people (even the maintenance staff) for their kindness. I would definitely recommend putting such a difficult time in their hands.

This place is fantastic. My mother-in-law was here the last couple days of her life and they were so caring, so wonderful to her and to us. Highly recommend!
