Having surgery and some level of apprehension go hand in hand, especially since you're having to let go of control over your body and place trust in a bunch of strangers' hands. The providers were wonderful, my surgeries went off without a hitch but the billing department is absolutely horrible. I was under the impression that I had paid in full for my two procedures that occurred 5 months apart. All of a sudden, 9 whole months after my first procedure I receive an additional bill for “incorrect rate” on both procedures. The first bill I received was dated November 2025, I then received another bill in December 2025 stating my payment is over 120 days late and threatened to send me to collections ev... read more
I had my second surgery at Horizon surgery center last week. Myself, being a nurse of 32 years, have very high expectations from the staff & facility. Both surgeries from scheduling, preop instructions, surgery day, discharge instructions & follow up have been outstanding. All the staff from the front desk, nurses & anesthesia doctors were friendly, efficient & professional. I am completely satisfied with the care I received at Horizon surgery center.
Just returned home after a great experience. Very professional in all parts of pre/op, invoicing, surgery prep, physician coordination, anesthesia, and recovery. Thank you!!
