It was great time, awesome selection of pools (3 different pools and a hot tub). They had a 9 foot deep pool which was awesome. Great views. Make sure that you wear you wristbands because there is security always. Their also was a air show and the planes were very loud but it was great.
Horizon South is amazing except for the fact on a late night walking my dogs the bathrooms seem to be locked and during springbreak the college kids (im assuming) destroy the bathrooms which is a HUGE inconvenience but other than that Horizon South is amazing
Herizon South is a well kept older resort! Yes there has been some construction in the past year but they do a fantastic job keeping everything nice it’s just all part of it. The 4 pools and hot tub are very nice and the beach is just across the street and only a 5 minute walk or less from most of the condos in the resort. I highly recommend this resort.

We live in Birmingham and made the drive in February ❄️to enjoy the warmer weather. 🌞We booked our Airbnb here at Horizon South and had a great stay! The beach and many restaurants 🦐 🍻🍸are just a few minutes away. Although the ocean 🐠🌊 is too cold to swim in, Horizon South has several large heated pools and jacuzzis🤽 ⛱️ This is the perfect clean community to enjoy a relaxing weekend getaway. 🩴🏖️ ❤️👍 if helpful, thanks! 🙏
My parents spent one night at Horizon South recently and paid $2500 for the month and the place was not clean and had cockroaches all throughout the unit. They left the day after arriving. So sad.
