Horizon Pines Senior Apartments is truly a wonderful, well-managed, and caring community for seniors! My grandmother lived here for many years (and still a resident), and as a family, we are extremely involved—visiting 4 to 7 days a week, every single week since she moved in. This is income restricted "affordable" housing for >55. Great location.. Mostly 2 bedroom. Spacious. Lovely pool. Fitness room blows. Management is good. Quick repairs. Like 1/2 the apartments are cool. The rest of us live in a big bldg that feels too much like a nursing home.
The management here harasses tenants. My dad is 96 years old and every month we get a call or a letter of harassment. I have lived here for a year and they have repeatedly caused him distress. The management does not investigate anything and is constantly making false accusations. This is a hotbed of harassment and gossip and it makes living here a constant struggle.
