Established in June, 1942, HES serves approximately 13,000 residential, business and commercial customers within our service area. HES purchases its electricity, and is regulated, by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). EnergyNet is the internet division of HES and provides internet services to residential and business customers in Hopkinsville and some surrounding areas.

Our downtown business has had Internet service for several years with AT&T, recently tried upgrading from the initial 6 mb to 18 mb, but really made no difference - speed sometimes above 15, sometimes below .5 mb! HES pulled a fiber optic line in last week, we're now running a very solid 50 up/down at a slightly lower cost. And the employees are all based in Hopkinsville, USA, and have a solid communication grasp.
Anything they can do to cost people money. Living on a limited income and they want a 400 dollar deposit to transfer service. Ridiculous
Our internet has been out so many times. Call after call and getting nowhere ��. When will this be fixed??? Will be changing soon. We have been loyal customers for a long time now, but this is getting old fast!
