I've been going since 2016.Then it was Life and Purpose now its Hopewell. I have seen dramatic changes in my personality and behavior since going here. for the better too! diagnosed in 2016 with Schizoaffective disorder I have been going to my doctor every 12 weeks and seeing a therapist too. I've been taking medications for my problems and I've never been better.
I like my doctor so I can say that much but everything else has gone so downhill. Appointment times being changed without my knowledge, my doctor occasionally not being in the office the day of my appointment and no one notifies me, and now surprise drug tests when I have absolutely no history of abusing controlled substances which I feel goes a little bit too far. Wish these aspects about the place would improve because aside from the care I receive from my doctor I'm not impressed in any way whatsoever with anything else.
I've had a VERY GOOD experience from 2 therapists(Primary and Family Therapist) and a Case Manager there. All three professionals are empathetic, caring, compassionate, and non- judgmental. They also give positive regard with stress management techniques. They try to teach you skills and tools for your daily life. It is up to you to do the homework.
