My experience was overall okay. I was not very fond of my counselor and felt that they didn't have the best knowledge/patience to be an LPC. When I reached out to take a break from our sessions due to scheduling conflicts, they immediately took me off of their caseload, and I wasn't even able to see their response to my message (that I checked within the minute of receiving). Maraeca was an absolutely wonderful consultant (CIT) for me during my EMDR certification journey. I learned so much from her wisdom and experience.
The 6 week art therapy program was incredibly special. It was a really valuable way to find a supportive community to learn from.
