I attended my first appointment with Dr Hope today and, unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. I have seen doctors in the past who lacked patient care, but this consultation felt particularly impersonal. Dr Hope appeared rushed and eager to conclude the appointment. She did not review the referral sent by my GP, and I had to prompt her regarding one of the issues outlined in it. I also felt that she was not fully engaged in what I was explaining. I've been seeing Hope and Jasmina for my rosacea for a few months now and they're both so helpful and understanding with great guidance on treatment pathways and different options for me. Would really recommend Hope Dermatology!
Dr Hope was unbelievably unhelpful for my dermatitis. She misdiagnosed my dermatitis as perioral dermatitis when it is seborrheic dermatitis and proceeded to worry about my earwax build up rather than helping with issue. I paid $350 for a prescription of antibiotics that my gp prescribed to me for free :)
Dr Hope, the nurse and everyone I saw from start to finish have been so professional, kind and helpful for my treatments and surgery. Highly recommend!
