Hoosier Contractors did a great job with the new roof and trim replacement. They were able to get the public insurance adjuster to work the claim for me when my local insurance agent said no there is no coverage remaining on a 20 year old roof. Agreed from other reviews I have read that it will take some time to co-ordinate insurance work, schedule the install and so-forth, the results were well worth it and my house looks like new again. Hoosier Contractors is a great company to work with and very professional in their services and contact! After a horrible windstorm in 2018, leaving our roof with exposed felt and missing shingles they responded quickly in getting our claim approved with insurance. DO NOT USE! Three things to describe them: unresponsive, misleading, and not trustworthy. Initially contacted us in April 2016, work performed in June 2016, and billing disputes finalized in December 2016.
Hoosier has been absolutely outstanding to work with. From beginning to end they kept me informed and were prompt in getting all work complete.
WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND FOLLOW-UP EVER!!! I strongly discourage anyone from using Hoosier Contractors for any roof repair. All they care about is their money, whether the job has been completed or not. They used lawyer scare tactics to get their money, even though THEY NEVER COMPLETED THE WORK! If you want over-priced, poor quality work, lies, threats and frustration, this is your company.
I do NOT recommend using Hoosier Contractors. They told us how much we owed, we paid it, then they came at us saying we owed over $2,000 more. That made it cost $3,000-$4,000 more then any other quote we got and they would not tell us what the extra money was for. They are very shady, please save yourself the hassle of doing business with them. Spread the word.
Never actually got to use them for service. They called on a Saturday and said they would be out around noon. I called them back around 1:30pm after hearing nothing from them. I was told they were pulled away to another job estimate that was in a different area. The lady said someone was supposed to call to let me know and no one did. So we rescheduled for Monday morning before noon.....NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED AGAIN. Obviously I will not be using them. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and shame on me.
