Called ahead at 715 to see what time they closed. We were told 9 o'clock. Got there at 810 and was turned away because the kitchen was closed. How do u close the kitchen at 810 on a Saturday night. Especially when u tell customers 9 pm. Staff could seemed to care less that this was the 2nd time this happened to us!!! Never returning

Today was our first visit to Hook and Boil and definitely give it a FIVE star rating! Within seconds of entering the restaurant we were welcomed by the smiling face of our sweet waitress! We then sampled the boudin eggrolls and raw oysters which were delicious! For our entree I had boiled shrimp with a few sides and my husband had the crawfish etoufee/ fried shrimp platter that also had other sides! Awesome food; great staff!
Fantastic seafood and even better food! They treat you like family! If you come here you have to get the shrimp and dungeness crab bowl an the pecan bread pudding! You will it be disappointed.
