Went there tonight with 8 friends to listen to the Mercedes Ladies. They were great, but the food was not. We waited about 30 minutes after being seated for someone to come take our order when no one came we went to the counter and asked for someone to come and take our order. Myself and a friend ordered a shrimp poboy that we couldn't eat because it was too salty, another friend and her husband ordered a few things and the only thing that they could eat was the boiled Crawfish which for the price were small. We have loved Hook and Boil from the beginning and they have never let us down! Thanks for accommodating our large party and never missing a beat. Jamie, our server was fabulous and the food was amazing as usual!!

Food is awesome n the service is great � we had oysters fried n raw crawfish n shrimp shrimp n grits and their famous bread pudding

Went tonight. Waiting 30 min for a table and over an hour for our food, but it was so worth it. The crawfish were awesome (and I am very very picky about my crawfish). The boiled shrimp were the best boiled shrimp I've ever had (I usually don't order boiled shrimp in a restaurant because they are often over cooked and rubbery). The good is awesomely seasoned to your particular liking. The serving portions are satisfactory and the service is impeccable.
You would have to just go and check it for yourself but i love it.
So we arrived around 7, was told it would be a 30min wait for a table for 2. Was seated about 725 on the patio, placed an order for an appetizer and 2 entrees and have been waiting an hour and still no food! Children running rampant, jumping on and off the stage and folks lighting up smoking their cigarettes! Not really sure they have a good grip on reality when it comes to operating a business!
