Crawfish was a little on the salty side. The crabs could’ve used more seasoning. I had to ask for a butter sauce and my waiter didn’t seem to know anything at all.
Boiled shrimp was excellent. Boiled crawfish, very small and bland at the regular seasoning. Beware of prices, however. Menu had no price listed for crawfish and shrimp. Not unusual, and I asked for prices. Upon leaving, I saw a sign behind counter that I missed. It listed the price of my combo as $4 less. We came tonight and had the BEST service and crawfish HANDS DOWN! Have eaten crawfish (3) times this year and Hook and boil was the BEST!!
Food and atmosphere was excellent. We will be back.
Went this evening for dinner and was so disappointed. Out of fried shrimp among a long list of other menu items at 6:30 on a Wednesday. You could get boiled shrimp but not fried which we found very odd. Don’t think we will be back after reading that this is a regular occurrence now.
I hate to give a bad review but last night was not a good experience. We have eaten here before and really enjoyed it so we brought some friends from out of state. They were out of the first 4 items we ordered. Ended up ordering the shrimp Acadian it was room temperature and tasted like it had been sitting on the counter all day. The rest of the food was mediocre. We won’t be back.
Took my son there last nite and my boil shrimp wasn’t fully cooked. The crawfish was room temperature and the gumbo was cold plus they brought me out cold piece of cold that still I had ice when I bit into it. Promise I will not go back there
Was one of my favorites. Service was terrible! Our waitress was over worked could not keep up with the tables. Waited for condiments was done eating by the time the y got to us. Same with our drinks. Had one drink the whole time eating crawfish. The crawfish are too small to be serving.
