This bridge is the biggest rip off. They do not give you any good information on how to pay, then you get a bill in the mail saying you can pay on a web site if you go to the site within 14 days but you don't get the bill with the website till after the 14 days have pasted??? Now they want 3.50 pluss 3 fee? Can't win this one
What a ridiculous idea someone had here. - No pedestrian or bicycle access permitted. - Pay to use dangerous bridge. Super inconvenient to pay fee.
Avoid this bridge if possible. We crossed on a very hot evening after driving hundreds of miles with a trailer. Traffic was very busy. Didn't realize this was a toll bridge or that it was so narrow until it was too late. BOYCOTT THIS BRIDGE. Hood River management has left such a bad taste in my mouth over trying to do the right thing and pay the toll that I'm at the point of stop spending money in Hood River period. Crappy bridge and no one manning the toll booth. Website screwed up. People in Hood River dont return phone calls and or answer phones in timely manner. Crappy customer service overall. Best not to ever cross this bridge. The hassle to pay the toll is more than its worth. Almost a month and still no invoice ;nothing but dead air.
