We had such an amazing time on the Sunset kayaking tour! Justin was the perfect guide. He was knowledgeable, informative and witty. A must-do if you’re planning on visiting the Columbia River Gorge/Hood River area.
Breathtaking experience! Justin was our guide and he was kind, patient, and very knowledgeable—he made the trip unforgettable. It wasn’t exhausting or difficult, even for our 13- and 14-year-olds (though probably too much for our 9-year-old). Kids did get a few blisters, so bringing band-aids or Neosporin is a good idea. Rented from SUP 3 years in a row now and it’s simply the best. We love being able to take off right at the hook and they’ve got all the gear we need! Will continue to recommend and come back!
We reserved kayaks. Super windy even in the protected inlet, but we had a lot of fun! Egrets, blue, herons, and a lot of geese! The one young gal who was working there was so helpful. The only drawback to the whole situation is the parking. You have to sign up for the parking app in order to pay and it wouldn’t accept my information. Other than that, it was an absolutely stellar day.
Great experience!! Would do this whole thing again from beginning to end, easy, organized and so fun! Marley was a wonderful guide. Thanks for the memories. P.s we met such fun people as well!
