We reserved kayaks. Super windy even in the protected inlet, but we had a lot of fun! Egrets, blue, herons, and a lot of geese! The one young gal who was working there was so helpful. The only drawback to the whole situation is the parking. You have to sign up for the parking app in order to pay and it wouldn’t accept my information. Other than that, it was an absolutely stellar day.
Great experience!! Would do this whole thing again from beginning to end, easy, organized and so fun! Marley was a wonderful guide. Thanks for the memories. P.s we met such fun people as well!
‘Hood river’ town is so charming. I’m so glad we drove to this town after visiting the waterfalls at Columbia river gorge. We had lunch at Riverside restaurant - it has beautiful patio and then we spent afternoon in the park area. Stunning views of the river. This was my favorite out of all the places we visited in the Portland area!!
We had a fantastic kayak tour with Hood River SUP & Kayak. Our guides were fun and helpful (especially for those of us without much experience kayaking) and the scenery is spectacular. Would definitely recommend them.
Justin was a great guide for our kayak tour. He had lots to share about the area while offering just the right amount of coaching and advice as we paddled. Would definitely book again!
