My daughter lived here last year and again this year. It’s a beautiful place and the staff is wonderful although it is pricey considering the other options available. It is also a good walk to the food court in the winter , which is a deterrent .
Would not recommend to anybody who has the option. If not for the price point alone, Honors Academic Village is only a disappointment through and through. They have internet that goes out for days on end with no response or initiative to fix it. They also have paper thin walls and doors that merely suggest that you have privacy and have no sound deadening at all. Also, good luck finding anyone helpful to talk to, especially if they move someone into your shared room without your consent. If you have any issues at all, better... read more

Probably the nicest dorm on campus, which is shown by the price. I have lived here for four years. My first two years were pretty nice, but they switched to an internet provider who has been nothing but trouble. Monthly internet outages that last for multiple days are not out of the ordinary. I wish I could give a higher rating, as all of the people who work here are amazing and super nice. No wifi. Has been out for days on end. Has went out multiple times previously, even during exam week. It goes out building wide, not just for certain individuals at certain times. So far it’s been over 2 days of no internet connection. Not to mention you’re paying thousands of dollars for no internet connection. This has been consistent for over a year, they don’t fix anything, just mend it for a week before it fails again, because they switched to a cheaper internet provider.
