My wife and I along with our Grandsons got to be a part of the Welcome home group that met the WWII Vets at NW Arkansas air port. It was quit an Honor to see these men and women and welcome them back home. The smiles on their faces as everyone welcomed them home will be memories we will carry with us forever. Watching our Grandsons Thanking them and shaking their hands was was such an Honor because our Fathers served and now our son is in the Army and deployed.
My grandfather and dad were able to take part in the Honor Flight a couple of years ago. My grandfather was a WWII vet. He passed away this winter and he was still talking about things that they saw on the trip. Thank you again for the wonderful things you do for these men and women. I know it means a lot to them.
My dad was a part of honor flight and was a wonderful experience for him..he has since passed and i know that he felt very blessed to be a part of it. Thank you honor flight!! and thank you from my dad. rip....fredrick k. smith.
