Hong’s flowers are an Icon in Bloor West Village (BWV). Yen the owner and his family have been in the same location for decades. They deserve NOTHING less than 5 stars for their dedication. They excel at floral arrangements for any occasion and have timely courteous reliable delivery to make it easy. There are times when flowers can elevate so many. I was actually really surprised reading some of these reviews because that was not my experience at all. I did go a bit over my budget but I did that fully knowing how much it'd come out to, there was no surprises at the cash register. It was only $6 for 3 extra big green leaves and I was told the price before it was added. The guy was very pleasant, asked about the person I was making the bouquet for, and made sure it looked nice! My mom was extremely happy with the gift. We'll see how long the flowers last.
Unfortunately, I have to agree with the other negative reviews. I bought lilies from this store yesterday. Not 24 hours later, they're already shedding their petals. Lilies typically last 10-14 days. Very disappointing. I recommend going to Bloor Village Flowers or Bloor & Kennedy Flower Shop - by Bloor & Runnymede, not far from this store. Their flowers are by far superior. This flower shop has twisted business practices. I was shown some roses and got a price from the seller. But when the time came to pay - the cost was almost twice the original. He gave a bit weird explanation for that. But the numbers didn't add up. He also tried to charge $10 for each green leaf that was added to the bouquet.
