I had colonoscopy with Dr. Shen 3 times. He is kind and gentle, respectful and made me feel comfortable with procedure that is not comfortable. Great job!
I had colonoscopy and Gastroenterologist done and Dr. Shen did a great job. I will continue seeing him in the future. I feel like he took great care of me and answered all my questions.
I barely saw him but since I was there for a colonoscopy that is to be expected.
He barely looked at me, told me I have IBS, and prescribed me a medication that is not at all accessible to me. Then he told me to take OTC painkillers. Totally dismissed me when I asked for further investigation into my issues. I got a new Dr. who ran all the tests, found and actual major issue, and the cause triggering my pain, and is working to help me heal.

Very poor bedside manner
Fantastic doctor.
Outstanding staff pre-op care, excellent care in the operating room and Dr. Shen even remembered me from four years earlier when I had the same procedure. It was a very calm and welcoming environment, not the least bit anxious. He made a colonoscopy almost fun.
