I had to come and go but I got to hear at least three or four of the comedians, it was fun.
Great big room in back for private parties. Awesome stage for bands to perform. Great bartenders, great appetizers. Helpful friendly staff. Good vibe. I like the place.

When son,Erik took me for the first time to Hong Kong Inn Ventura, to see James Intveld, I did not know what to expect at this place. It turned out to be fun. We met nice people. Also son, Alex with the Hard Six band people came ,after their band practice, to join the fun.
Old school at it's finest! Great food, great music. It's like hanging out back in the day. Except it's today.
Been coming to HKI for almost 50 years. Bring back the Polynesian Revues!
Surprisingly good. We entered the restaurant, much to our surprise, we were the only ones there! You would think that we should have and would have immediately turned around and left. We didn't. We ordered a few dishes and appetizers. Much to our surprise, the food was very good. Tasty and appeared to be fresh. Service was A1, course we were the only ones there. Lol. I paid the bill and a generous tip. Let me ask you! What are the chances of that happening? Once in a lifetime I bet. Anyhow, would eat there again.
The music was great. Service poor. Tap beer was flat. Great place for live music. I'd return
