I imagine Thanksgiving must be the busiest time for this business, second only to Christmas. You would think that having been in business since 1957, they would have a sensible approach to picking up orders at such a busy time of year. You would be wrong. I purchased a ham online and was scheduled to pick it up Wednesday, November 26, 2025. Apparently they took my money and threw my order in the trash. Paid for food and waited in line for over two hours only to be told they ran out of food. How do you run out of food when it should have been available for pick up hours earlier. The worst, horrible set up
I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Honey Baked Ham. For a company that relies on just three major holidays to stay afloat for the rest of the year, you would expect them to have their high-demand operations figured out. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I waited in line for two full hours, only to be told when I finally reached the front that they had run out of food. Really disappointed this year. Was poorly managed. Had guest who hadn’t paid walk in for pick up while people who paid had to wait 2 1/2 hours for their food with reservation. People that were walking in and prepaid had to wait in the same line. Should be in two different lines. Management and staff didn’t do anything until after about 8pm when the line was wrapped around to cvs next door.
