I leased a Honda HR-V EX-L, in January of 2025, through the Honda of Watertown, as a non-state resident. Watertown is my hometown and where my bank is, but after college I moved to *****for work. I saw Honda had the model I was looking for and decided to see it in person, since I had looked at cars in ******but they didn't have the model I was interested in on lot. Purchasing a car here in 2021 was a nightmare from day 1, when they sold me a used Civic with a dead battery, charged it just enough to get me home, and then tried to blame me for it when it wouldn’t start that night. It took the GM at the time stepping in to stop me from returning the Civic altogether. He acknowledged that they were at fault all along and made a great effort to get the car into proper shape so I was willing to squash my problems for the time being. Representative from Honda of Watertown calls me up and tells me I have a recall on my newly purchased (1 1/2 yr ago) Ridgeline and proceeded to make a service appointment with me for the next week and was told to ask for Tod when I arrived. Tod greets me, and tells me its going to be several hrs wait for the recall to be preformed. So my wife and I go for a long walk, and an hr later I get a call from Tod stating they don't have any of the parts (rear wiring harness) to do the service! Service department lies by omission. They never ran a basic diagnostic on the car, charged me for a new battery, and didn’t fix the problem… when I confronted them with this they told me “oh I thought we decided to go with a new battery instead of paying for the diagnostic fee” so now im losing another day of work to bring my car in to get serviced on something that should have been done before coming to a conclusion. Honda of Watertown will not honor the 2024 Accord quote I received from Sales@ hondaofwatertown.edealerhub.com . I went to the Honda of Watertown website on my computer. I clicked the section that indicates “Contact Us”. My request was very specific. I requested a price for a 2024 Accord Hybrid with some options and requested an all-inclusive (OTD) quote by email that includes taxes, registration & title, and conveyance fees. They get NO stars from me!!! I purchased GAP insurance thru Honda of watertown ct. The insurance was for 6yrs. I've since refinanced with another lender. When you purchase gap and then close the account with the dealer, they are r to return any unused money. They owe me $291, I have left messages for Michael R******* the "Honda buisness manager" (that's a joke). No call back, contacted Honda headquarters and they had me going in circles for 2 1/2 hours. I called ahead asking if they had a Honda Pilot Trailsport available and was told there was a Gray one coming in a couple of days. I stated time was of the essence as I was in an accident and needed a new car before my rental ended. I was told this was not a problem. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was told that they made a mistake and it was actually black and not gray. I bought my car in October 2022 by letter November/ December 2022 I was already experiencing electrical issues. Late April / June 2023 my ***** ******* 2018 constantly has the engine light on . I took it to the service department and spend 3 hrs to tell me they can’t fix it. I had brought my 2014 Honda CRV to the Honda Dealer in ********** ** which the vehicle was purchased from and has been serviced since the time of purchase. I originally brought it in for an oil change and to diagnose why I have to have frequent oil changes. It seems the oil was burning out fast and no leaks. I was told that the oil is made very thin now and just add a quart to extend the time in between oil leaks.
