I took my 2016 Honda HRV into Honda of Olathe, where I purchased it, for a routine oil change and check-up about two months ago (Aug 2022). My father (who is a mechanic) went in for a scheduled airbag recall in his 2003 Honda Civic ,his daily car with 300k miles on it as he drives 25 miles to & from his job. The car is in perfect condition as perfect goes for an ‘03. Then they started saying “you need to change the timing belt, spark plugs, brake fluid, oil leak” and a bunch of other random things that they probably don’t even look at.
