If I could give it a negative star I would unfortunately it will not let me. Yesterday my daughter drove to Ocala from Tifton GA to purchase a car marked at 23000, she had her own loan and money to put down on the vehicle. Worst dealer ever! I was told, by the salesman, that I had a 15 day or 300 miles to return the car. Then when I bring it back they tell me they have a no return policy. My first payment was set high, supposedly to cover tax, tag, and title then the rest of the payments would be lower, then it came in much higher than what I was verbally told! No way!
Worst dealership ever. They will lie to you to your face. Finance guy will change the contract. If you buy GAP, they will put you with a company that have a F rating. In seven days the first contract with them the APR was 4.99 then after I had them to take off unnecessary warranty they changed the APR to 10.54. Dealing with these people (sale man's and finance people) is like doing business with the mob.
Let me grant you the courtesy that was not allotted to me and my spouse by warning you DO NOT give your business to Zach ****** of Honda of Ocala. We made an appointment with ****** to view a pre-own vehicle the dealership had in stock. ****** was very aware that we lived an hour away, our price point and that we were not interested in wasting their time. My wife and I were invited by the dealership and receive some incentives. We picked out a 2021 Honda CR-V, the sticker was $31965. When we started to make a deal for this car the price went up to $37965, for dealer add-ons SCAM, I also had a letter offering me up to $8900 off the sticker SCAM, never happened, The letter also stated that they would give me the MSRP of the value of my trade, they didn't even offer me KBB value SCAM, this was truely a bait and switch, here is the car $31965, but wait now it's $37965. Signed a purchase agreement for a used vehicle and had financing from my personal bank. Signed all the necessary documents at the dealership. Got home signed all my loan documents with my bank and they mailed the check. Apparently it was never marked sold or anything, so after the salesman that "sold" it to me clocked out. It was resold. So now I have to pay some interest on a loan with no vehicle. Not to mention no one had the testicular fortitude to call me and notify me, it was done over text.
I own 3 Hondas, I brought my last one from Honda of Ocala. My BIG PROBLEM is with their service dept. Took my 2003 Accord for a recall issue (wiper moter replacement), the service tech completely broke the two wiper blades assembly. To stop me from yelling they gave me free oil changes, one time they forgot to tighten the plug on my 2004 CRV and the oil drained out. I bought 3 New and one used CRV from this dealer. I really like both the sales and service departments. The staff make you feel at home and are really glad to see you. There is never any pressure and Service is always timely and withen estimates.
