I tried to explain my decades long struggle with body dysmorphia and he immediately interrupted to ask how much I weigh. Be prepared to have every sentence interrupted.

I had been looking for a good doctor and I finally found him. Dr Homsy is a nice person that takes time asking all types of questions. He reviewed all the meds that I have been on, and made some changes but explained why he was doing it. I have been a patient of Dr Homsy since April of 2008. I know all the recent bad reviews are false. They were written by a former employee who was fired from his practice last month. I am certain because she is no longer there and she contacted me to bad mouth the doctor. Dr Homsy has been in our area for the last 12 years, and he has been in practice 25 years. Explains what medications I'm on and why, always up to answer any questions I may have, empathetic and you can tell he really cares about the well being of his patients.
He sits behind his desk, on his computer. Will ask you questions while he's typing and you know he's not listening.
The visit was great as always but when his wife Vicki comes in it’s a nightmare. I have asked for my $800. + dollars the insurance said they mailed to Dr. Homsy and when I asked the new lady she was trying to help when Vicki interrupted her and said she doesn’t get any money back. I tried to show Vicki the paperwork as I’m a nurse and she treated me with such disrespect. Vicki said she is the boss but she’s on disability not supposed to be working. I know Spanish and she bad mouths patients.
