Overall this Hilton is sub par. I travel a lot for work staying in Hiltons across Texas. This one was overall lacking upkeep. Broken backboard/glass in courtyard, broken lobby chairs and tables, dirty dishes in cabinets in room, dirty hallway carpets, lose or broken tiles in bathrooms, same reused breakfast couple days in a row. I’m pretty tolerant of a lot but the final straw (to write a review) for me was there being no TP in the lobby bathroom…
Needs some work on cleaning. Busted glass on the basketball Court. Pool out of service. Breakfast was fairly good.
Jeremy, the front desk operator was welcoming, attentive and personable. The hotel is real nice. I am not a 5 star provider typically, however, I had to give 5 stars for Jeremy and the stand up way he treated my folks and me!!!! I would recommend the Homewood Suites, located on Golden Road in Tyler, Texas to anyone and everyone wishing for a nice hotel and great staff!
Nice location and breakfast is good
Overall we had a great visit and we would stay there again. It was our Spring Break and the weather was nice so we wished the pool was open.
