We stayed at the Homewood Suites in Summerville for 1 week (business trip), went home for the weekend, and then came back for another week. The first week, we stayed in a King studio that had a bad thermostat. I contacted the front desk the next morning and they sent maintenance up right away. It only took a few minutes for them to change the thermostat and then the A/C worked great. The maintenance guys were nice and polite. A Birthday getaway. The staff was extremely friendly yet professional! We will be back!!
This is my second time staying within the past year. During our May 2024, my family and I walked into a dirty room. The room reeked of leftovers, and there was a trash bag left outside of our door. I went downstairs, showed them picture, and they provided us with another room. During my current stay (literally as I type), I walk in and I see a dirty wall, spots that look like mold on the ceiling, spots on the cloth around the frame of the bed, and a “weathered” shower. Rooms were very clean, filled with necessities for eating/cooking, and AC worked great. Beds were comfy and the extra blankets and pillows in the closet smelled fresh. The pool was wonderful and the fact that they use wristbands makes it nice to know there are no random outsiders. Breakfast was great and the staff was very attentive. Ms Ana at the front desk was very kind and helpful! Traffic in the local area is busy but that’s Charleston for ya!
