I recently visited this Homewood Suites by Hilton San Diego Hotel Circl/SeaWorld area with my family for spring break (wife and 2 kids). The room and location was perfect for our family of 4 with the plans we had during our stay. However, room 568 smelled of sewage and it got worse during our stay. After 1 nights stay, in hopes that the 2nd night would be better , I came back to the hotel room disappointed (after a long day at Legoland). I had booked a stay at this hotel with trip protection and for personal reasons had to cancel within 2 days of booking. Even though the stay was 3-4 weeks out the hotel management is unable to honor any refunds or even a partial refund or future credits even though the booking was not cancelled at last moment. Totally irresponsible and unfriendly staff to work with. Will never book again with Hilton ever again in my life!
Unfortunately, my husband and I had to stay here for a whole month while our condo bathroom was being remodeled. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the cleanliness of the hotel suite.
Love everything about it super comfy rooms good breakfast great service!! Location is a bit out of the you property need a car
UPDATED REVIEW: Stayed 10/9-10/11 2024. They were changing out the old uncomfortable mattresses for new ones during our stay. We didn't have ours changed during our stay so next time i visit i will update my review for the beds. Ive stayed here three times in the past 2 years and they've improved so much! The temperature in the halls has improved Tremendously!! so it has allowed the air to circulate and take away the old hotel smell! I didn't have any issues during my stay.
