I have been a Hilton Honors member for almost 20 years. I booked thru SDCC to get special rate for SDCC event. This hotel overbooked their hotel (told me that my reservation was cancelled thru Hilton Honors App), sold my reserved room to someone else, told HH that they had overbooked this hotel and then Mgr, Viri (horrible customer service and rude) told me that this was not their problem, reservation was non refundable and refused to credit for another date and/or refund my money. Not the greatest Hilton property... The staff was very friendly, but that's about as far as the 'good stuff' goes. This has got to be the smallest kitchen/breakfast area we've experienced, so during the main rush, it is super-crowded. The food wasn't terrible. If you're expecting the traditional waffle irons, you're out of luck. We happened to be there when the had closed down their regular restaurant and had, what they called, a pop-up restaurant with the Candyland theme. This was embarrassingly terrible.
