I booked with booking.com and when we got there the room booking had down was wrong,compared to what I needed,so the Desk person Sally was so accommodating to us she found a way to get what we needed at check in. My family and I would like to thank her and Hilton for finding a way to accommodate us.
I cannot recommend booking a stay with this hotel. I booked a last minute room at Homewood Suites in Portland, Maine through Hotels.com due to a weather related flight cancellation. Within 2-hours the flight was cleared for takeoff and we were reboarded onto the plane. At this point I contacted the hotel directly to explain the situation and to let them know that I would like to cancel my reservation. Quiet, clean, and convenient. Just what we needed to visit all the sights on the coast of Maine. Fireworks in Old Orchard Beach, lighthouses, ice cream, good eating, and all the things Maine. Our friends were camping at a nearby campground. It was perfect!
The first studio suite I stayed in had bad AC and dishwasher. I was upgraded to king suite and at least one AC worked that was newer. The older units like to heat more than cool. The 1st day the hottub and pool was perfect, but by the 2nd day had no heat and was just a whirlpool tub. Exercise equipment was all working correctly including AC since it had newer unit.
