Excellent hotel & staff. Highly recommend.
Booked and paid in full online through Priceline. Hotel tried to charge me for sales tax on my card after I checked out even thought it was paid through Priceline. Odd for hotel room to also have a window AC unit and the trashcan had not been emptied from the previous guests.
VERY,VERY,VERY BAD LOOK AT THE PILLOW, THE BACK OF THE TOILET, BLOOD ON CURTAINS,FLOORING COMING UP, MILDEW AROUND AC UNIT IN WINDOW NOT TO MENTION THE VERY BAD SMELL AND A BAD ELEVATOR THAT WAS MAKING SO MUCH NOISE THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT AS WE TRIED TO SLEEP. NOT TO MENTION THE $2673.52 FOR 5 NIGHTS STAY DURING MARDI GRAS. AND THE MANAGER WAS RUDE. THE LEVEL OF SERVICE WE RECEIVED WAS UNACCEPTABLE. WON'T USE THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN.
First of all, let me say that I am a Hilton Rewards Member (well not anymore), but I'm very disappointed and dissatisfied with my stay at this particular Homewood Suites. I advise ANY and EVERYONE to do what I did...take a UV light and shine it across your bed, particularly the inner sheets and pillowcases. Most likely you will find stains that will make you sick to your stomach. That's what happened to me. And if you are unsatisfied, don't think you will get any type of support from the manager.
