This hotel is overrated, in my opinion. There is no white noise in the room to cancel out doors slamming shut so you will be woken up by early risers. The breakfast was prefab not as good as some other Homewoods. The overall vibe of the hotel is gloomy and needs updating. The views are not inspiring and traffic can be heard in the rooms. My 30th stay and there is a noticeable difference in the training of the front desk staff. It seems they have had a lot of turnover and the new folks are not trained properly. They didn’t ask me if I had a car, didn’t offer me water, really didn’t offer me anything besides asking for my credit card and ID. On a positive note, the cleaning crew still do an outstanding job and I did meet an outlier named Matthew, who is exceptional! Very professional and was very warm and welcoming when you needed something.

This hotel is convenient, clean, and surprisingly roomy for a California property. The breakfast is decent, and the workout room is better than average for a hotel.

worst experience ever! Customer service was terrible and to not get a response from the Manager makes it even worse. Here is my story! My first issue was that we were not informed that the Elevators were broken and at the time we checked in only 1 elevator was working. We waited quite a while for the elevator and when it arrived it was packed to capacity with people coming out.
