I am so relieved after a string of truly awful stays at 3 other Gainesville hiltons last couple months, I found a well cleaned and maintained hotel. Polite receptionist, clean lobby, clean halls, clean elevators, clean rooms. No complaints. One of the few hilton hotels I would gladly request to return to.

I don't know why this place doesn't have 5 stars but whatever. We had 2 adults and 5 kids (3 teenagers) and we all slept comfortably. The room was great , clean and enjoyable. Not many places have room for this many people we usually have to rent 2 separate rooms so they also saved us about 2 or 3 hundred bucks. Pool was clean except it's the season for those little black bugs but they are everywhere right now. Will be booking a room for the trip home as well . This is a nice Hotel, conveniently located by 75, lots of shopping, and Shands Hospital. They gave us a great rate on a suit and treated us like family. We arrived and met Ruth-Ann, she was nice competent, and very helpful. I like her, the way she answered my questions made me feel welcome. The next morning, we were running late. We are visiting for sad reasons, ICU Burn Center at Shands. We haven’t been ourselves. I called down to the front desk and talked with Maurice. He was very understanding and ask me to hold a minute.... read more
