Easily the worst Hilton experience ever. Checked in online, got a call saying the A/C in our selected room was not working so we were moved from a 2 king bedroom to 2 separate 1 king bedrooms. Got to the hotel very late (12am) and the lobby was very warm. We were notified the pool was out of service and the wifi was not working. We asked if breakfast was going to be available, and we were told it would be. Heading to our rooms, the hallways were very warm. We walked past hallway thermostats set to 84 degrees. BED BUGS!!! I would avoid this hotel at all costs. From the moment we arrived, the hotel had a strong old, wet, musty smell throughout the property. The pool was closed, and despite advertising breakfast, there was no actual breakfast available. Instead, guests were given brown bags containing an orange and a banana. The worst part of the stay was discovering that our room appeared to be infested with bedbugs. I woke up covered in bites on my arms and immediately notified the front desk. Nasty, dirty, no breakfast. NOT what you expect from a Homewoods!! I checked out next morning. I was just too tired to move the first night. I could not sit on any of the furniture it was so bad. Front desk only said sorry and they are losing Hilton brand name due to it being so bad and will soon become a Choice hotel.
