My stay has been really nice so far, it’s in a great location, the room was very clean and I love the separation from bed/living kitchen area. The breakfast ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL can not say enough about it and it’s free!!! I have stayed at a lot of hotels Hilton properties and their breakfast knocks it out of the park. Service was great I didn’t catch the older ladies name who works night audit but she was very sweet and welcoming. I am excited to check out the pool today and just relax.
The room was nice enough. We upgraded to the two bedroom suite. The rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast was good. There were a few small issues that made it not exceptional. We were there for a funeral so we really didn't spend much time in the room. However, there were light switches that didn't do anything. In the second bedroom you have to go all the way to the bedside to turn on the lights. There was no dish soap at the kitchen sink. There were bed bugs and ants all over the room. Room was cleaned but severe bug problem.
Every time we plan a vacation to this area, we always choose to stay at Homewood Suites because it is close to most places we like to visit - Mercato, Coconut Grove, Tin City, 5th Ave, Fort Myers Beach, and Vanderbilt Beach. Marco Island, Captiva and Sanibel are also within driving distance. The rooms are spacious and the mini kitchenette each suite has is a plus.
