This an absolutely unprofessional health center with doctors (Psychiatrics) that not only help the patients to improove their medical conditions but because of lack of responsibility or medical knowledge they cause more trauma and harm to the patient.Dr wang was the worst doctor that I have ever seen in my life. Do not recommend this center to anyone who seeks medical inquiry specially mental health needs.
I had some ups and downs in my stay here, most people do. I think anyone who found their admission to be terrible or not up to par, has never actually been in an acute psych ward floor covered by Ohip (in my experience). Every time Ive come here ive witnessed people being discharged early due to unacceptable, discriminatory behaviour or a lack of commitment to the treatment plan. I was admitted to Homewood Health Centre, Trillium 2 unit, from the Guelph General Hospital. I found my experience very helpful and the right care and the right time for me. I will say that they were able to get me on the right medication, and I was able to leave with a better mood than when I went in. I appreciate the support I got, and am hopeful again. Would highly recommend going here if you need support. The only complaint is that the nursing staff were not very consistent.
My personal journey of sobriety is continuing and progressing fantastically. It was the program that I entered into that helped me find myself for a much better life and future. Thank you to all that were involved in this journey. I look forward to reconnecting with any coordinators about a guest speaking opportunity. Staff have never dealt with addiction first hand only have a degree from school. The nurse practitioner pushes toxic drugs on you while taking away natural supplements that have been proven to improve your health and well-being. The addiction ward is rundown.
