Save your money and your loved ones the added trauma if they plan to go here for PTSD. If I could give zero stars, I would. the nurses specifically the ones in charge of the traumatic stress injury, concurrent program are Disgusting. Specifically Heather Martin, the Nursing Manager, and Jackilyn Vallesi, the TSICP Program Manager . There are a lot of inconsistencies in the program I was in. The nursing staff is not trauma informed at all!! During our check in, we were telling them that we felt unsafe and very anxious. The nurses didn't know how to handle our response at all. I did not have a good relationship with my therapist and asked for a new one, but they did not provide me with a woman who would have been able to help me with my trauma. Terrible place do better they only care about the money.
If I could give more stars I would. Don't let the negative reviews steer you away from this place. You have to work the program, its not a magical fix. But as you work you start to see the results. I'm finishing up an 11 week stay and it was the best thing I did for myself. The ASU/CPC unit was amazing. All the staff was incredible. I would say honestly, this place saved my life I started treatment October 31, 2024 for alcohol. I had the best treatment I could get as far as I’m concerned the nurses on my floor were great one nurse that is in my heart is Jen The on-site doctor was spot on Claire the therapist She taught me a lot about myself I would recommend Home Wood to anybody My name is Keith
