Worst company in America . This company scams owners . They are sending distorted pictures to homeowners of the property to hide damage . They don't do their job. The owner of HPM stated that the " checkout list " for tenants is just a " guideline that they don't have to clean the home . He had the tenants sign the checkout list also and noting was done on that list . It's so sad that they are scamming clients .
No stars. I've had issues with them since day 1 of moving in to a townhouse that they claimed was 'move in ready'. It was most definitely not. It was very dirty, smelled of dog urine, and on top of that, there were flees everywhere. 0 Stars!! This company is a complete scam. After the hurricane there were damages to the property that the company did not look into and when we moved due to our 2 month old having breathing issues after moving back into the house, they are now as we speak trying to charge us. The do not follow NC or Federal housing laws. If you decide to rent with them make sure you have a lawyer on speed dial. The staff is EXTREMELY unprofessional, rude and what seems like untrained.
Beware Military Families, this company is not military friendly!!!!!!!! Read previous posts and Hometown's response and you will see what they believe is a professional and courteous response. They will go to any length to explain away complaints and staff member screw ups. Their staff lie about dates, times, amounts and will even lie on behalf of vendors they are contracted with. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! I honestly don't know what they are getting paid to do. We have had nothing but problems. My husband and I LOVED the home that we were renting but would not recommend the rental company. One of the first things that threw me for a loop was the "convenience fee" they charge each month added onto the rent if you want to pay your rent online. The convenience fee charged to the tenant is not a fee charged by this company but a charge for using a **** or ********** through the system we offer tenants with their portal. They are given the option to use account number and bank routing number to avoid the credit card convenience fee. When the tenant pickup keys we always inform how to pay rent and avoid the convenience fee that we have no control but their choice. Worst company ever to rent from. They're black listed and are not military friendly. They always try to drag things out, and have not fixed discrepancies that were noted out on the move in inspection sheet by the company or the tenant. We are a military friendly company where each employee is or has been closely connected to our Armed Forces and proud of it. Not sure where the complainant came up with that statement but it is wrong. The tenant moved into the property just days after the previous tenant moved out.
