I’m a vet and my home VA clinic is in Maine. I’m a little bit homeless. I sleep in my car. I came into this VA while in the area with an ear infection. There was one person in waiting room. They referred me to Miami VA, which is far and complicated or emergicare outpatient. I don’t know if this is SOP but it was disappointing.
I am so pleased with this clinic. I needed papers signed for insurance and it was done that same day. When I came to pick them up, almost everyone was gone. I saw one of the nurses in the parking lot and she went back inside to grab them for me. Thank you so much nurse Lisa S!! You are the best.
