Renting from Homestead in Calgary is a big mistake. They are an Ontario company with only 1 building in Calgary. Attempting to communicate with the building manager is useless. This building might as well be managed by a rock at the bottom of the ocean.
Saw your horrible company on the news. You can't fix 2 elevators in 2021 in a 16 storey building and make older people with mobility issues stay stuck in their home while you take their money. This is so brutal and disgusting. I think legal action may need to be taken here. WHAT A JOKE of a company!!!
Do NOT rent with Homestead. I have been waiting for the elevators in my building to be fixed for 5 months now. The company has not communicated to the tenants properly at all and has left us in the dark. Recently, the 2nd elevator broke down and now we are left without any working elevators in the building. I live on the 15th floor of my building with a dog who has arthritis and it takes us 45 minutes to get up the stairs to my apartment. Nice place. Would rent it if I could afford it. Manager didn't come up to show me the apartment but sent me up on my own.
