I was really excited to move into my new house in New Town! The issues started shortly after (I have been in the house almost two years). Whittaker and the warranty company, Pro-Home constantly blamed each other for who's responsible for what fixes during the warranty period. They no showed three times on service appointments (I assume they were just buying time until I was out of my 1 year warranty period). Terrible to the workers that have been there for years. They lay people off just because they don't like them and they set them up for disaster. I wouldn't want them building a house for me.
I hope each of the people in the Missouri Bluffs development do their research and see how this slime ball is playing Monopoly within almost literal eyeshot of one of the worst cases of contamination this country has ever seen. Of course, “that’s been all cleaned up.” What about the old Hamburg quarry where Thorium rich material was dumped and there are still mutated fish swimming around? I’m sure it’s all good though, enjoy your homes!
They and the warranty company ProHomes suck. They lie that they will repair something and do not. I wouldn’t purchase from them. My patio is cracked and crumbling getting worse everyday. They say wait until 11 month walk through. It meets standard. I couldn’t sell it to someone with the crumbling patio. When walking across the The floor it is popping like some one is shooting a gun in my home. The lights are flickering and tripping the switch in the box downstairs. Clearly home has electrical issues. And floor is not stable.... read more
