Had the Chorizo Mac'n'Cheese and hubby had the Garlic one. Delicious!!
If you don't like macaroni and cheese, this probably isn't the best choice. I've always been relatively indifferent, but this place may have changed my mind. I came with my family (5 of us) and we each tried a different preparation. I had the Gilroy garlic, which was excellent, and was able to sample the bacon, jalapeño, traditional and Hawaiian which were all equally delicious. I had the Macximus. Awesome. Supplement with white cheddar and grilled chicken. Spicy cauliflower side is great starter.
Amazing food! Well worth the trek to Oakland for it!
My family and I ate there for the first time last night. We had the roasted spicy cauliflower as a side. We just loved it as well as the different macs we got. In fact, we loved it so much that we bought their cookbook. The only thing that disappointed me was that the cauliflower recipe wasn't in the book. I was looking so forward to making that along with the Mac and cheese. We will be back.
This is my favorite place in the world! Best Mac and Cheese everrrrrr! I go here anytime I wanna be a fatty :)
Mac the Goat w/ bacon was BOMB, especially with the Tapatio.
Had dinner there for the first time and I LOVED IT... We just wish we had one in Rocklin..
The food was pretty good + The server was very nice/helpful = This had you at 3 stars --- but the hostess Stephanie, she was rude and unprofessional. If she does not like her job or doesn't like people, then she should find another job. Probably won't come back, or will just do take out.
