Loved this place. Mac was amazing and the staff was fantastic. Portions are huge. Best homemade limade I've ever had. Parking is street, but well worth the effort of finding a spot.
Had the smokey bacon and ate off my friends Mac the goat with fennel sausage, to die for, both of them. Live too far away to come often but I'll drive from San Jose to Oakland again just for this!!
My daughter and 4 yo granddaughter were visiting from Wyoming when we had lunch at Homeroom. My granddaughter had a specific request for mac n cheese, and Papa found this amazing place! I am vegan, so the fact we could all eat delicious mac n cheese as a family was wonderful! Fantastic vegan mac n cheese!
Love this place! Mac is so good! Can’t wait till I visit the Bay Area again. I’m definitely coming back here when I do.
We went yesterday for my daughter and my nieces birthdays since they both love Mac and cheese the wait was a little long but we knew that going in as there were 10 of us the food was really good and all of the staff were really nice and seemed to actually like their job we will definitely be going back anytime we're in the area I've already told other family and friends they need to check this place out

Very creative and awesome tasting Mac n cheese ... Definitely get the bread crumbs mmmm.... Pretty big portions also my gf and I shared a smoky bacon and we still had some to take home :) Look forward to going here again!
Our friends took us out for dinner here last weekend. I found the texture of the pasta to be sort of sticky and under done and the flavors bland. The elote bowl was outstanding. Service was very good. If you eat here just be prepared to wait, it seems to be loved by locals. �
