I've been going to Dr. Hodnik for close to 15 years now. So I needless to say I'm very happy the dental care I receive there. No need to look elsewhere for quality care.
We just moved to Homer and my tooth went bad. Dr. Hodnik's staff worked me in within a day. I had a schedule conflict so they offered to break my visit into 2 visits so I could attend a meeting. The entire staff are all very nice and made me feel welcome. More importantly they explain everything well. My fear with dentists is that they attempt- "over-sell" you the gamut of expensive procedures. I came into the office because I was experiencing pressure in a tooth . The pressure was causing headaches and grouchiness. I could feel a ragged edge along the tooth and didn't want it to turn into a root canal . I was happy to see that Dr. Hodnik was not eager to rip into it ,but rather took a wait and see approach as there was no sign of infection. I am trying hard not to grind my teeth but still am having some pressure.If it get worse I will be back in for another check.
I've been a patient for 19 years. I have appreciated the longevity of Dr Hodnick's employees. I think I've had 3 different hygienists in that time and can only remember Connie at the front desk. This continuity of people and routines makes me comfortable and speaks highly of the practice. Dr Hodnick is personal, professional, and my dental work is all holding up! Thank you all so much!
