My husband has dementia and this can make things difficult at home. His caregiver was experienced, reliable, and did not give up. She shared her coping methods with me and that was enormous help in dealing with his difficult days. His changes in appetite, mood swings, and coping behaviors were handled with skill and grace and with her experience handled it all very gracefully. She was wonderful! He is coming to the reclusive stage of his illness and refused further care. I am sorry to lose her... She really made a difference... read more
