We have never had a bad experience at a Home 2 suites. But this one was way overpriced and the beds did not have a supports in the middle so they tagged in the middle.
I’m in Thunder Bay once a month. Normally stay at Towne Suites but thought I’d try Hime2. Due to Air Canada strike, my trip to Thunder Bay was cancelled. Called to notify the hotel more than 24 hours in advance and was charged full room rate. A little heavy handed. Contacted customer relations and they told me nothing they could do. I had to call hotel directly for resolution (why? Are these franchises?). Call the hotel and they told me to call back another day when the Manager was working.
