Walking in the lobby is nice and bright. Looks well kept. Front desk employees are not friendly at all though IMO. I seem to all be like the emo type with piercings on their face and have their friends hang out with them in the lobby daily. If you ask them any questions they seem to be put off and bothered that you would ask them anything. They are never behind the desk they're either sitting with their friends at a table or in the back or you can't see them so you have to ring the bell. The front desk staff was friendly, but this hotel is in serious need of closure and renovation. There appears to be a significant mold issue. We checked in and checked out within 15 minutes after seeing the room and the overall condition of the property. The floor was very damp, the drawers were warped, and many fixtures showed water damage as well. . The smell of mildew was overwhelming. ***Be advised*** This property has serious mold issues. You can smell it as soon as you walk into the lobby, and see plenty of visible evidence of mold all over the hotel. I don’t understand how this place is even allowed to offer services to the public.
First room they checked us into was still dirty from the previous guest. They moved us to a smaller room that stunk and could hear everything in the lobby. The overall condition of the hotel was pretty disgusting especiallyfor how new it is. We checked out and went to the Hampton down the road. The Hampton is excellent!
