Upon checking in, I was handed a slip for parking from the front desk employee. I wasn’t really told what to do with it. I was just told that this is for parking so I used my two cents and went out to my car and put it on my dashboard. Which I’m glad I immediately did that because as I was leaving for dinner, I called an Uber because I wanted to go eat somewhere and have a couple drinks and not drive. Very friendly staff - Nice location 8 mins walk from mall - pleasant experience overall.
I loved the hotel and the room. The breakfast was good and the staff was GREAT. Unfortunately me and my guest were contacted twice by the front desk about noise. While we were just sitting and having a conversation with one another we received a knock on the door. It was a staff member that had come up to tell us that they had a complaint about noise coming from our room. Apparently someone complained that they were hearing banging or some such. More important than almost anything is feeling safe and welcome during our stay. The bartender (Shannon) ruined our experience completely, to the point where we had to call the police and file a report. Screaming at 4 years old for coming near the pool table- which is located extremely close to the exit and hard to avoid- and yelling at guests outside to smoke away from the fireplace because the natural gas is leaking were only a few of the ways she made sure that everyone was uncomfortable around her and the area.
