Very clean. Staff is very nice and helpful. I leave very early in the morning for work. Coffee was ice cold. Talked to front desk and they left the overnight shift a post it note. Had hot coffee at 0400. Never got hot coffee again. Didnt want to ask every night.
Overall this is a nice, affordable hotel that sits right between I-65 and a great mall area with plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. The rooms are very nice suites with a kitchen. The only thing they're missing is a cook top for long term residents. Our only two complaints were that we requested an extra pillow a few times and never received it, and the breakfast xould use a little upgrade. We made do with the 3 pillows we had so it worked out. This was my first time at a Home2 Suites location. The breakfast was great. The coffee was good. But the bed was not what I expected at a Hilton property. The room itself was fine, but the mattress has not been evaluated by management for wear and tear. Or, if it has been, management leaves something to be desired. If we come here again, I will check the quality of the bed before settling in. I guess that should be my habit, but a Hilton property has very rarely let me down.
Very Disappointing Experience – Lack of Flexibility and Poor Service Review: I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. Due to circumstances beyond my control (a government-related delay), I was unable to check out on time. I informed the front desk in advance, explained the situation clearly, and even told them they could remove my luggage from the room if needed to avoid inconvenience.
