Check out the Wellfield Botanic Gardens on your way to downtown Elkhart. The Northern Indiana Event Center is 6 miles away, and the University of Notre Dame is a 20-minute drive. WiFi and breakfast are on us.

Clean spacious rooms, HOWEVER! Breakfast should be taken off the list of amenities. We saw very few items restocked as they were completely out. This included plates, hot foods and silverware. It was a weekend stay so a crowd was to be expected. Especially since you have a system that shows you exactly how many people are booked. Nobody looked like they had a sense of urgency to keep up with the demand as lines formed around the empty plates in the warmer. The rooms are great, new beds and comfortable. However the service and breakfast are abysmal. Waited 30+ minutes for when they say breakfast is, still for the food to be cold and feel undercooked.
We have stayed in Home2 Suites a lot over the past few years. The Elkhart is by far the worst one! The air in the room stinks. Im sure the A/C has had no maintenance and is filthy. The bathroom shower is depressing. The bed squeeks like im in a 1960 cowboy motel. The place is sold out, and the price is high. Hey Hilton, lets step it up at this location, disappointing.
