Avoid. The room and bathroom had a terrible sewer gas odor. When we talked to the front desk their response was - “that’s just the normal smell for Battle Creek, there’s nothing we can do about it.” There’s no normal for sewer gas odor coming from the toilet when open. We had to put towels on the floor at bathroom doors to block in the smell to be able to sleep. Walls and ceilings have terrible soundproofing. Very Clean! Great location away from the traffic and Madness. The best hotel in the area that we have stayed at.
Great experience for 4 days on Mother's Day weekend 2025, much better than previous reviews we saw online. Everything was new-ish, clean, well staffed, friendly staff. The manager helped us with a reservation glitch and made sure we had the best the hotel had available. The pool was open, clean, we used it and it was nice. The workout room was also open and nice, which we also used.
