Beware of fake-good reviews. Many renters leave good reviews because they need references for their new rental. We felt Home Roots treated us poorly and was unkind.
We rented from them for a year in Centerton. Their handyman was great and responsive when we needed, but management was unfriendly. We felt overcharged when we moved out. We felt they used more of our deposit than needed to make repairs to damage we did not do.
Chatted with Nick from Home Roots and was super impressed. He really knows his stuff when it comes to property management. Nick answered all my questions and made everything make sense. Definitely recommend reaching out if you need someone who is honest and on top of things.
Completely screwed me over. The website didn’t work and I received one response a day at most until they never responded again. We were told everything went through correctly, so we lined up the end of our lease to allow for a few days to move, but suddenly stopped replying. There is no physical address, so if you don’t get an email back, you’re SOL. Had to pay a penalty to extend my lease and find another rental property. 0/10 do not do business with this company.
